- How many portable tables have you actually
sold?
Some 50 000 since 1989.

- What width of the portable tables should I
buy?
The choice of width depends on what kind of treatment you perform,
but also on your own height and reach. In classical massage therapy
your aim as a therapist should be to have as narrow a table as
possible, to achieve an ideal working posture. Widths 50 and 55 cm
are the most common. For more so-called relaxing treatments, the
therapists often prefer a wider table, so that the patient may feel
more relaxed during treatments.

- What colors may I choose from?
We have five standard colors in our color collection: Sand (code
117), Light blue (code 410), Dark blue (code 002), Bordeaux (code
041) and Lion (code 036). Other colors are available for a price
supplement.

- How much weight do your tables hold?
Model MA and ZON: 200 kg evenly distributed, 150 kg centered in the
middle of the table. Model TE: 250 kg evenly distributed, 200 kg centered in the middle
of the table.

- Are your portable tables height-adjustable?
Yes, the portable tables are height-adjustable (5 positions) between
60-80 cm as standard, and 50-70 cm or 70-90 cm for a price
supplement. We also want to recommend our electrically or
hydraulically height adjustable chassis, which you may use with a
Tarsus portable table.

- How much do your portable tables weigh?
A 55cm table weigh almost 13 kg. For every 5 cm up or down the
weight increases/decreases approximately 0.5 kg.

the portable tables?
Yes, it is possible to have +2cm thicker padding in the MA and TE
models. Model ZON already has 6cm padding as standard.

- How do I clean my Tarsus table?
The artificial leather is cleansed by using soap and water solution.
Dry the table thoroughly afterwards. If disinfecting is needed, use
a diluted alcohol based solution (too concentrated a solution
shortens the life-length of the upholstery). After disinfecting, use
the soap and water solution. Finish up by drying thoroughly.

- Is it possible to download brochures on the
web-site?
Yes, a pdf version of the brochure, as well as a link to Adobe
Acrobat Reader, may be found and downloaded from each product page
(see Products).

- Is it possible to have paper brochures sent
to my home address?
Absolutely. Just contact us.

- Why is a 45cm table more expensive than a
50, 55 or 60cm table?
We always deliver the 45cm tables, our most narrow tables, including
side supports (2x7.5cm).

- I have an older Tarsus table. Does your new
foldaway head support fit my table?
The foldaway head support fits all our models, including previously
produced MA, TE and ZON tables.

- I have a table of a different brand. Does
your new foldaway head support fit my table?
Probably not.

- I have a table of a different brand. Does
your electrically/hydraulically chassis fit my table?
Probably not.

- Are your portable tables made of steel?
No, of aluminum, a much lighter but very sturdy material. As you may
know, aluminum is used for building airplanes, for the very same
reasons.

- I don’t live in Sweden. Could you send a
product to my address?
Yes, we deliver globally.

- I don’t live in Sweden. Do you have a
reseller in my home country?
In some countries, yes. Contact us and we will inform you further.

- Why do your tables have only two, and not
three, pair of legs? Isn’t that very risky?
The idea with the design and construction is to free space
completely under the table, so that the therapist won’t risk bumping
into anything during treatment. The design and construction is so
well thought-through, and the material so sturdy, that a third pair
of legs simply is not needed.

- How long life span does a Tarsus table have?
Long. The feedback we receive is unambiguous: Many of the earliest
tables (our first year of manufacture was 1989) is still both in use
and in good condition, even if they been in use daily.
